East Main Street was originally called Park Avenue. This picture from
the early part of the 20th century was taken at what is now the
intersection of East Main Street and Maple Street before Maple Street existed. The large Victorian House (second from the left) no longer exists; it was
demolished in the 1970's. It is now the playground for Shaynah Kinner.
